Lincoln Park Place Beaches Blog
Summer is all about being able to unwind and get away. The perfect place for sunny relaxation is right here in Massachusetts. Take advantage of the beautiful warm weather we have this season and head to the beach! Conveniently located in Dartmouth, Lincoln Park Place is a short distance to any beach from here to Cape Cod, including the North Shore, and even local State Park beaches in neighboring towns. Whatever beach you are in the mood for, Lincoln Park Place is close enough to all of them! Here are our favorite spots that you should visit this summer with friends, family, or for a solo adventure.
One of the most popular beach areas is Cape Cod. Close enough for even just a day trip, the drive to the Cape is a breeze. Known for all of its quaint, New England towns along the water, the Cape hosts some of our favorite beaches that are either right by Bourne Bridge, or nestled further towards Provincetown.
One of the most well-known beaches located along the National Seashore is Cahoon Hollow Beach, which attracts people of all ages. The views of the ocean and sand dunes are breathtaking. Located at the top of the dune is The Wellfleet Beachcomber, which offers great food and beverages along with nightly live music and events.
The North Shore is another one of Massachusetts’s most notable beach locations. These beaches have a slightly different feel than Cape Cod but are equally as beautiful. Moving up further north, Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester is a must-see. Only an hour and 45 minutes from Franklin, this beach town has everything you need for a day or weekend getaway. At low tide, you are able to walk out to Salt Island to look out even further into the Atlantic.
Want to keep it more local? Apponagansett Park is perfect for family fun with plenty of options for activities, like a picnic area, volleyball court, playground equipment, and basketball court. Sometimes, that relaxing beach vibe you’ve been searching for is just a few miles down the road.
